Do you do this before you go to sleep?

Well every night before I go to sleep I will imagine books that i read and change them and turn them to how I like it and then replay it in my head. . . Do you do this?

Also I do this every night up till i fall asleep and never once have i dreamt about it. . .though I do only remember my dreams every once in a while. . .

i am very new to all of this but i THINK, that doing that sort of stuff only affects the dreams in the begining of the night, and by the time you get to your last dream your mind will have forgotten about those things, and it is the dreams before we wake up that we remember best.

somone will need to clarify this as i am not 100% sure.

from what it seems to me, my dreams consist of a concoctian of the things i do in the day, years ago even, so it would seem that for dreams the brain uses to long term memory, not the short term.

when you say you imagine books, are you reading one currently?

I sleep program - hey here's a neat trick - you can program any book you read into your dreams tonight - you just need the title: like so:

Say the following OUT LOUD before you go to sleep:

"I WISH TO PLAY [PUT ANY CHARACTER NAME HERE] IN [PUT ANY BOOK NAME HERE]"

      Then go to sleep.....

      and watch what happens!

interesting, i suppose that makes sense, seeing as our dreams seem to consist of previous 'actions' not thoughts

Hi. I do the same thing as you do, it just means you have a good vivid mind Chances are you have pretty cool dreams each night, but just don't recall them in the morning. Why don't you keep a dream journal. Every morning when you wake up, record any dreams that you remember. The more you do this, the more of your dreams you'll be able to recall. I bet you have very strong storylines in your dreams. Try it out
