      Question ...Struggling to keep my eyes open?

      (I searched through the entire forum, but if there already is a thread like this then I apologize.)

      Please help me with this...

      I´ve found that every time I have a FA-induced lucid dream, I always have the same problem... I can barely keep my eyes open. I´ll walk around my room struggling to see anything at all, since they´re always half-closed. They literally feel like they´re made of lead or something.

      Have any of you experienced something like this? How did you overcome it?

      Funnily enough, the minute I´m out of my room my eyesight is back to normal (or, as normal as it can be when dreaming).

      Mabey your room reminds you of sleeping. If I were in that situation I would simply remind myself that that these are not even my real eyes...because My real eyes are closed and asleep. Thus, I should be able to do what I want with these ones. Just be assertive with your mind, and it will yield.

      Thank you! I´m not really sure if that is the reason, but I´ll try to remember to remind myself... I´m not particularly experienced with FA´s, though (I´d only had a couple before I actually started /reading/ about them... now I have them very frequently). So maybe it´ll become better with time?
