Thread: Your most reoccurring dream things

School.

Dream Signs? I don't have very many of those. The only thing that seems to pop up on an even semi-regular basis is me being inside of a large room, either with lots of people or very few or I'm alone.

From time to time I'm in a school (I work for the district), but they're never exactly like the school is IRL. There's either an elevator going up to a non-existent room or staircases going off in weird directions.

My 2 grans houses for some reason.

Being unable to keep my balance while walking, with broken glass or otherwise small sharp stuff all over the place.
Being unable to run.
Aggressive bees.
School (the only thing that doesn't involve getting killed )

air plane crashes
my dog getting hurt
continually having to pee (for some reason i don't wake up when I have to go, I just dream about going)
really bright colors

war
violence

but not all bad!
usually those work in my favor

A Full Moon (I've now learnt the moon cycle to use it as a DS)

Wow, I too have several.

A specific long road
A specific large house
A specific secret entrance through a closet floor to a secret lower room

Being chased
My grandmothers house and/or yard with a different house
Dogs
Fish
A specific planet
Colonizing a new world
Spaceships
Outer Space
Sky diving
A specific train trussel
My grandmothers death (I was holding her hand when she passed away and it was more traumatic than I ever could have thought)
My grandmother
Losing control of a car I'm driving which includes:
A threat of driving into cavernous potholes
A threat of driving off of bridges
A threat of driving into water.

I'm sure there are many more, but those are what come easily to mind.

A few people, school, fireworks.

My dreamsigns vary a lot, though

I have a lot of dreams where:
I lose my teeth
fighting off killing zombies
going to school

Ugh.. don't remind me.
I have dreams of my teeth falling out too, but it's based more on an actual occurance and a touch of PTS about the whole ordeal than an actual random or even recurring dream.
Kind of like the dreams with my grandmother in her last days... Real life trauma is often repeated in my dreams.

What are "dream signs"? Is it symbolism found in our dreams or interpretations???

Dream signs are signs that you are dreaming, they remind you to do a reality check.
ie. "Hang on my cat isn't usually purple, I must be dreaming"
They help with going lucid.

Dark inside/outside
Trouble doing simple tasks
Being very emotional - Sad/happy, no fear tho. I wonder why.

I couldn't find anything, but I did find more about dream signs here

My childhood house, ufos, like last night i had the same ufo dream twice. A huge ufo landed in my childhood street, and aliens came out after me, but they were skeletons. I tried to use dream powers but i couldn't.

Recurring things for me include-
Flying/falling and stopping right before I hit the ground
Rain/water/drowning
Being nekkid O_O
Being chased and only being able to run in slo-mo
Being scared
Being threatened by someone
Not being able to see faces (this is a big one, since I was little)
And recently, being thinner

hmmm, the most reoccuring things in my dreams...well,

- haunted houses. (present in nightmares)
- There always seems to be 3 ghosts in my dreams, always floating together, and trying to tear at me with their hands. (present in nightmares)
- dimming lights in my house. (present in nightmares)
- one girl that always seems to make me feel safe. We flirt, and end up kissing right before i wake up. (present in good dreams)
- Purple Mist, always shows up when I'm in the midst of realizing that I'm dreaming, right before I become lucid. (present in every dream)
- My first pet dog, always tame in the beginning, then runs into a pitch black room, and returns red-zoned with foaming at the mouth. (I'm sure everyone knows what it means when a dog "red-zones") (present in nightmares)

Now that I think on it I'm positive they're all symbols of something sence they are continuous in every dream good and bad, if anyone could help me interpret them that'd be great,

Animals and theme park related stuff tend to crop up a lot as well as supernatural creatures such as vampires, devils and stuff. Sex also comes up a LOT.

I forgot, I also get a recurring dream in which I'm on a train with a vague destination which it never seems to get to.

1. Trains - curse friggin trains. i spend enough time on trains while im awake.
2. School - high school and primary school. funny i never dream about university...

4. Wolves - i've never seen a wolf in real life before (I dont even have a dog), and i have nothing against them, but for some reason they've always been trying to kill me ever since i was little. everytime i dream about a wolf im automatically terrified (in my dream - you know how you just feel/know things in your dreams)
5. Waves - big huge waves crashing into me - waves are also something in my dreams that terrify me (and they sort of do in real life too), unlike the wolves)
6. Weird sea creatures either in the ocean or in jars and fish tanks
7. Being unable to walk properly
8. being chased/hiding (mostly from wolves - but random psychopaths try to kill me too. also sometimes im just trying to hide from people because im angry at them but they're trying to find me)
9. flying - in helicopters, planes and superman style

But yea, i agree with amethyst star - the places i dream about aren't like they are in real life

Im fairly new to LDing, and even newer to keeping a DJ and it seems that my mother is a dreamsign. she always ends up in the vehicle im in, somewhere in the room im in or just happens to appear somewhere, never says anything tho I just notice that its her face...
