Hi guys, |
Thanks paragon. |
Dang, I wish I had that! |
Time to go sleepy..
How do people know with any certainty that there's a feeling of endless happiness when they die? |
The brain becomes hypoxic during the dying process and this hypoxia can cause random and uncontrolled firing of neurons. There is a specific area of the brain that activates whenever we do something pleasurable eg eat something nice, have sex, get good news, look at our lover's face etc. It is possible to stimulate these neurons electrically and it induces an intense feeling of pleasure. Hypoxia causes a lot of random neural firing hence it is common to experience emotions as the brain dies. |

Yeah I had this feeling before about three times and it's AMAZING!! |
I woke up today having dreamt (spelling?) of a woman . I didn't know her but she kissed me and when I asked why she said "because I wanted to". I can't even remember what she looked like but I spent a night with her ( nothing sexual we just slept in the same bed ) and when I woke up the feeling I had was like you said euphoria . Now I've taken drugs in the past but this was like an overwhelming feeling of happiness the only way I would compare it to any drug is that I have to have more . I seriously cant get the dream or feeling afterwards out of my head . I've also had dreams in the past where I've woken up crying but this euphoria is a first for me . |
Yesterday I had a very happy, almost "perfect" feeling in my dream last night when a DC kissed me. It felt very real. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I had a similar dream the other night, too! It felt MUCH like falling in love. And very real, too. There was even a whole backstory to my relationship with the girl in my dream. Her running away from an oppressive mother and us growing even closer because of that. I love dreams like that. But then the alarm clock goes off and you gotta go to work |
Hmm...I haven't felt this yet. Sounds great judging from the comments here. But I don't like the crying afterward lol. Yeah I know the tears of joy. But it would be embarassing if someone sees me crying...I dislike being seen crying. |
hi suntok123 this is just general advice from probably a very older person, theres no shame in crying or to be seen crying, it just means that you have loved what has been lost |
Hey, sounds good!. I remember mine all too well. My heart just mushed when I heard the heart beat and saw him moving about. We saw him move his jaw as if he was talking and he was going in circles. At first I was like "why can't i feel this?!" and the dr had to explain. SO and I cried hard when everybody left the room. |
I'm with suntok123 it would be an amazing feeling, but the crying is something I wouldn't like. |
I've also had this in one of my dreams. I was in a car on a journey (with my family? Not sure) but there was a girl in the front passsenger seat, and I got the best feeling of completeness and happiness im my life, when she turned around and looked at me. Then I woke up crying cuz I'd thought that I'd never ever meet her in real life. |
