Why do I always wake up after every dream?

It's been happening a lot lately. I had three dreams last night, and after each dream I woke up, tossed around a bit, went back to sleep, and then repeated the process.

My dream recall is becoming outstanding, however I'm constantly forgetting to do my reality checks in my dream, as I tend to just go along for the ride. This is definitely something I have to work on.

But over the past week after each dream I tend to wake up. Is this normal?

I had about 5.5 hours of sleep total last night.

You should do RC as soon you wake up in case of false awakings.

As for the waking up part, I not sure about that. I pay no mind to the times I wake up in middle of the night but then again I only do it once or twice unless it the weekend.
Noticed things in my lucid dreams: Not scare of death (kinda forgotten Freddy special power of killing in dreams, opps?) Huge ego which cause me to summon monsters, most DC are useless and don't even speak.

I think you wake up naturally after every REM period, but most people just don't remember.

      ^ Not sure if it's 100% accurate.

That is accurate stasik. Everyone wakes up after every dream, but most the time it is so brief you don't even realise it so you forget about it by morning. Many people like to make a habbit of remembering when they wake up to help with dream recall and inducing WILDs and the like, looks like you have an advantage.

yeah it sounds like DEILD would work for you if you're waking up after every dream - which is what i want to get better at! if you can figure out why you're so aware of those times i'd like to hear it.

Is it safe to disturb your sleep everynight for many months? Waking up is one thing but writing something down with your light on is another.
