      Recurring dream help

I am new here and am hoping someone can help me. For the last couple of months I have been having a recurring dream where I am in a house and I have pictures of my wife and kids all over the place. And someone is talking to me and they ask where my family is and I just break down and cry and tell them I don't want to talk about it and then I wake up really scared.

The pictures are of how my family looks today. I cant tell if this dream is taking place in the near future or in the distant future. And I do not recognize the person who is talking to m in the dream. This dream happens about 2-3 times a week for the last couple of months. I just had it again which is why I am up writing this at this time.

Please help if you can. Thank You.

Maybe there is a part of you saying that you need to spend more time with your family. Or maybe the dream is trying to tell you that you need to get more involved with your family. Maybe it is trying to say that your family needs you right now, but you don't realize it.

I am not insulting your abilities of a father/husband, I am just saying what I think the problem could be.

Yeah don't let it scare you too bad.

I do believe that dreams are precognitive in some ways, (no clue how, but explain dejavu to me and I'll give you all the reasons why a scientific explanation doesn't work, like comparing your Dream Journal to a RL experience you know you had in a dream and seeing the writing on the wall sotospeak), but not always that directly.

Usually dreams use strong symbolism however, and what the above poster said could be perfectly true. Whatever walk you walk, (good or bad), just use that dream to visualize briefly what it would be like to not have your family, (BRIEFLY!), and then use that bit of sorrow to fuel you taking every waking moment to appreciate them as much as possible.

After all, they are living, breathing right in front of you, right? Enjoy it!
