Thread: dreamt about dying .

I found...two sentences.

Dreaming about dying can be fun if you're lucky. There's something about the inevitability, the sweet release, the making peace with yourself...sounds sort of scary in your case, though. It could have been a false awakening that you experienced, too. And don't worry...if you die in your dreams, there is still no way you could ever die in reality. It just won't happen, unless you're very dodgy about the heart.

Sounds intense!

I've had many dreams in which I've died.
It used to annoy me as a kid because my dreams were so contrary to what many people believed.

My coolest dying dream was of me walking across a very tall train trussel (sp). On a dare, some of my friends and I walked across it in real life. We made it safely across, but my unconscious mind used to torment me about the dangerous possibilites.
In the dream, I was walking across it, but a train came and I couldn't get out of the way. The train ran me over and I was a literal pile of goo with eyeballs looking out rofl. I watched as the train disappeared and thought "I'm dead". I then woke up

In another dying dream, I was a passenger in a car one of my uncles was driving. There was a car accident and he slammed on his brakes. I flew out of the windshield and, unfortunate for me, a train derailed at the exact moment I landed. It squashed my head and I HEARD my skull crack and felt a "headache" of such intensity not known in life. Again, I realized I was dead and I then woke up.

I just had a dream about dying. It was really weird, because usually when I die in my dream I either wake up, or go to a completely new dream.

Long story short I was in an elevator with some friends and 2 strangers and the chord snapped and next thing i know we're falling to our death. I don't remember hitting the ground but I remember the dream restarting, but with the knowledge that I died. I started looking around for evidence that I died and what do you know I end up in a room with a newspaper of my elevator death and I start going around to all my friend excited.

I was excited because I had this revelation that once you die you just go into a new consciousness (or dream in this case). And I was explaining to everyone that you can keep dying over and over and change consciousnesses and you leave behind the old one when you die, but youre still the same. I don't know but it was really weird hahaah.
