Thread: awake during a dream kind of?

well i talk in my sleep and one morning i was at my brothers house sleeping on the floor, i was in a dream but i could hear what was happening outside my dream, my parents were talking and vacumning,and i could hear what they were saying and everything,in a sense i knew i was asleep but then again i didnt,i thought i was awake because i could hear my parents up and walking around. i opened my eyes (maybe just in my dream?) and hallucinated clouds outside a window on my brothers wall that wasnt there in reality, they were really beautiful and i involuntary said "mom, look at the clouds!,look!" it was so freaky. i actually REMEMBER saying it too. thats a first. i never remember what i say in my sleep. not only that... I didnt say it. like i didnt mean to say it, it was a dream thought that didnt really make sense. i THOUGHT it. but for some reason my mouth moved and SAID it.
but more than that, how was it possible for me to sleep talk while being aware of it? my body did that on its own... :/ i really had no control D:
