Thread: Blind dreaming

Now this is not about how blind people dream. I found 5 Threads for that
The other night I had a dream during which I lost my sight and then after a while, got it back. It was awkward because while I was blind I could still see... Sometimes everything was black and white and only a few things were colored and sometimes it was like I was looking through some kind of darkening film.
The next morning I told my mom about it and we had a discussion about whether one could really be blind in a dream. She says you would hear sounds like blind people do when they are dreaming. My argument was that dreaming mainly consists of seeing things happen and even if you dream that you're blind you would just know that you are. Otherwise it would it would just be like hearing voices in your sleep. Has anyone ever recalled a dream without vision even though they've never been blind?
