I have only been able to do this once, but I was very relaxed and listening to classical music. So far, I have not been able to reproduce the same results. Anyways, here's my full-length question:
How can someone enter the dream state while it's day outside? Which method would someone use? How can you force yourself to dream when you are not feeling sleepy?
I'm pretty sure this might be related to meditation and entering trances, but so far I have never specifically heard methods of entering the dream state if the intention is not to sleep (kind of hard to explain. You want to dream, but you are not trying to sleep in the first place; you want to cut the chit-chat and enter the dream state directly). I have a suspicion this might have to do with WILD. I want to know how since I keep hearing hypnosis sessions where the hypnotist takes the client into a deep relaxed state and then having them place the dream all over again in their head. I suppose this might be the answer, but I want to make myself sure.
