Its normal for the Circadian clock (internal clock) to lose track of time during sleep, but 10K years is a little much. Its honestly just about how your mind perceives things. If you had a dream that covered 10K years, whether in detail or not, your mind may still think that it was asleep for that long. How long did it last afterwards? Another explanation is that your body could have had an extended REM cycle, this accounts for both the extended dreaming, and the sensation of well-restedness. |
