Thread: Finding dream guide?

So I have been struggling on lucids this summer, and I had the task of finding my dream guide once I got one.

I finally got one the other night, and I tried to meet my dream guide, but I had an odd encounter that only confused me as to whether I actually met my guide or not.

I found myself in a water amusement park. I decided I wanted to try to 'summon' my dream guide, so I went to the top of a slide and climbed a wooden pole above it. I stood on top of a wooden platform up there and looked down on the water. I lifted my arms with my palms towards the sky and a giant face began to emerge from the water. It finally emerged completely and I was staring at a middle aged man's face. It was rough with glasses and grayish/brown hair. And for some reason, I somehow knew his name was Roger. I just felt a strong feeling that he was Roger.

This didn't last long, however. I soon woke up.

Could this be my dream guide?
Can anyone give me advice on how to actually find my dream guide or to assure myself that this was it?
