      DEILD- something went wrong

      Hello

Last night I tried for the first time DEILD, but something went wrong...
Well last night I dreamed that I was in my car with a few friends. I didn't drive but a friend sat on the drivers seat. He had my keys (he found them somewhere in the car) and ask me if he was allowed to drive. I told him he could, but when I'm saying "stop" to him he had to actually stop and give me his place.
After a few moments I said "stop" but he just kept driving. I got angry and started yelling. Than I awoke, but with my eyes closed.
I remembered instantly what happened. So I didn't move at all and kept visualizing the dream. I felt myself re-entering in my dream.
To this point, everything went surprisingly right... Until I re-entered the dream.
Instead of becoming lucid, I was outsides my car, the car was still driving. I stand at the road and I began yelling at the car. I started to run behind the car and kept yelling at my friend. And so ended my dream: I was not lucid, just kept chasing my car.
What went wrong? Why didn't I become lucid?
What I want to do while being lucid:
fly [ ] walk through a wall [ ] beating up a group of ninjas [ ] breath ounder water [ ] Talk with "Emil", a character of my novel I've been writing [ ]

It probably happened too fast, I doubt you had a chance to really ground your awareness. Keep trying though, you'll ge it.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

      You probably wasn't aware enough.
This has happened to me before, I have re entered a dream and completely forgot that I was suppose lucid. We all know how deceiving dreams can be

Next time you should hold onto that awareness as long as you can.
