Thread: Lucid Dreaming on ABC News

This was interesting to watch.. It wasn't really helpful though.

After joining this site, I have gone from having a lucid once every 5 years.. to at least once a week (DILD's). Telling yourself that you will have a lucid, or that you will fly, would probably help to some degree. But it isn't the main thing, in my opinion. And that seemed to be just about the only focus of this short video.

Recently the most common trigger to my lucid dreams, is a dream sign, and my favorite one, mirrors. Whenever I see a mirror, I will usually stop for just a brief second to study the reflection. Not only because I enjoy looking at myself, but to make it a habbit. When I do this in dreams, I often become more aware, and am able to recognize it as a dream.

Besides.. Lucid dreams Isn't just a psycological tool, to overcome post-traumatic stress. It is also a hell of alot of fun for the casual dreamer!

Always nice to see some lucid dreaming related content though. As far to alien to most people!

I like when lucid dreaming is mentioned in the news and in places where the very idea of conscious dreams gain exposure, but when it's not helpful/accurate/informative, it's a kinda big letdown. But, can't have ice cream with every slice of cake I suppose.
