      Dream Control, Interesting Experience.

Ok so last night in my dream I was being chased by lions down our street and I jumped to get hold of a car and grabbed the front bar of the car and then one of the lions was ontop of the car and was busy biting my hand and i knew if a let go the car would go over me, very intense feeling and then bam i realised it was a dream and immidiatly got a false awakening!

So i was lying in darkness in one of my very old bedrooms when i was a kid and I knew i was still dreaming! So I struggled to get up as if I was struggling to get out of my body trying to attempt a OBE.
When I got up I was standing against a wall and I could feel the texture with my finger tips but couldnt see anything. Then I finally pushed through the wall and was standing outside in darkness.
So from dream control research i just said outloud I want it to be light! Then very slowly the sun was starting to rise but very slowly and it was still kinda dark.

So I wanted to fly but again like all my other attempts I struggled to get about 10 feet up and then fall back down. So for some reason the whole sky just had like bungee ropes going through it, and i was jumping from one to the other and catapulting me hundreds of meters to the next one and I guess this will become my flying method when im lucid. . . anyone else struggling to fly when lucid? Kinda frustrating sometimes. . .

I used to have no trouble flying as a kid, but nowadays it's a little harder. You just have to undoubtedly believe you can fly (which isn't always easy) in order to fly. Some people convince themselves that there is no gravity in dreams and they can float or fly without a problem.

Myself, I usually crouch down and leap upward or get a running start, willing myself to move forward through the sky and thinking about moving where I want to go. A lot of the time, though, I can only move slowly, or I fall back down the more effort I put into it and the harder it gets.

In some non-lucids I was able to fly at only about running speed by jumping into the air and slowly flapping my arms like a big pelican. Not a very speedy flight, but flapping my arms can usually get me somewhere.

One time I was non-lucid and flying like superman. That is, until I realized I was dreaming. The moment I became lucid I couldn't fly anymore and was falling out of the sky. I did manage to keep flying though after a while by "swimming" through the air. The rest became one of my best dreams and my second third (and longest) lucid. I could only swim-fly though..
