      dreaming of soulmates

ok..so i always have this dream of this girl every so many years right and she always lookes different (age) but i know its the same person. and i wake up feeling so happy and every thing even when it was a nightmare i had with her. any ways so now i know that she is a real person and lives in the same town as me and these other things about her. (i have ways of finding out that i choose not to discuss with the general public) so anyways i was wondering about everyone elses experiences with this especially females.
      much appreciated

Well, first I should tell you that I don't believe that "soulmate" necessarily means one person. I think people can have more than one soulmate, and they aren't always lovers. But I think I know what you mean by this. Like, a true love sort of soulmate right?

I thought I'd found my true love/soulmate once, but apparently he thought differently and I was too blind to realize it. *shrug* Oh well. I can't complain too much because it's thanks to him that I met my true true love and soulmate: Lucius. ^_^

Anyway as far as recurring dreams are concerned, I have always dreamed of some (very handsome) dark-haired guy... I know him in my dream and he's obviously someone very close to me but as soon as I wake up, his name is gone from my mind and I can only vaguely recall his looks, his touch, his scent, his voice, and how strongly I felt when I was around him. After a few minutes of being awake, those feelings all but disappear too. I don't know if this guy is a real person somewhere but I wonder if this is similar to what you've experienced (except that you know the girl in the waking world).

I do believe that people can have a soulmate, someone who evolved at the same time (and I'm not referring to physical evolution)...almost a twin soul, but I also believe that we live many lives on many different planes of existence. Therefore I feel that it is near impossible for one to find their soulmate in THIS life or any other. Maybe my soulmate is already dead? Maybe he/or she has not even been born yet...maybe they are waiting on another astral plane of existence? I think it would take a miracle to truly find your soulmate in this life.

I dream of my soulmate often, but, I wake up next to her every single morning
There is no doubt in my mind that my wife and I are soulmates. It is almost impossible to describe the connection that exists between us.

The man I'm married to now is my soulmate.. and it took being married first to someone who wasn't to make me know how true that is.

What determines a soulmate for me is how calm my soul feels in his presence and how safe my heart feels in his hands.

I had a psychic reading done back in Feb and was told that my husband and I had been together in a previous life..
and I kind of believe that to be so because we are so right for each other in this one.

There are many people you could call a soul mate since so many people are alike. I have had dreams with a girl I believe I want to be with for the rest of my life. They are pretty good because a lot of them make me very happy.

      Strange connection to this topic.
Read my other posts and you just might understand.
I have dreams including a lot of fictional characters, and the whole i have a different life while asleep thing, i know like no one in my dreams could really exsist the way i see them. But i think in each of the lives i have had recently, i have found a 'soul mate' the two were very different, but they each gave me the same really warm fuzzy happy jump up and down to see them feeling.
One died just a little before i did, the other is my DCboyfriend right now. (hey, do you think it's okay for me to have a boyfriend in each life if i wanted to? Because my Ld life and my real world life, would count as separate, right?)
Why is it that when i am holding all of the cards, everyone else decided to play chess?
