The Music in Dreams

Have you ever heard a song in your dream that was impossibly beautiful? Or, if you play a musical instrument find that the music that you play during a dream is infinitely more melodious and ingenious than you could possibly every come up with during waking? I am a self-taught guitar and piano player and have had several dreams in which I pick up the instrument and the damn thing pretty much plays itself! I wish very much that there would be a way to record the audio from a dream...but then that would take away the magnificence of the dreamsong.

This is a pretty popular topic. I remember an actual post where someone actually remembered their whole song from a dream, wrote and recorded it.

Well, if you are good at both ld an music, it should be possible to remember the music and then write it. Will probably be hard to get it all right but worth a shot.
