      Sleep Paralysis/Accidental WILD

      So, funny story.

Last night, I woke up sometime in the middle of the night. Trying to get back to sleep, I slowly began to notice some HI. Noticeably, I began to notice a lot of ringing and buzzing (And holy shit do I mean A FUCKING LOT. I understand what people mean by that, now.) in my ears, tingling sensations, and also that I was paralyzed. I thought "Hmm... This must be sleep paralysis and HI that everybody talks about... Interesting."

Then, I opened my eyes. There was an alien in my room.

      Motherfucker.

He was the reason I was paralyzed. At first, I thought he was there to punish me for not believing in aliens back in that other thread.

It, of course, only occurred to me that this was all a dream and a product of HI until AFTER it was all over.

Anyways, so, I'm laying there, paralyzed (As far as I knew, I was still in my real body, so my brain automatically decided that the body I actually WAS in [My dream body] was paralyzed as well.) and I vainly lift up my hands in a gun-like way, shooting him with my fingers, and stuff. Doesn't work, to say the least. Eventually, he climbs up to my window and slides it open (I should have noticed something fishy here. My window doesn't slide open.) and gets ready to leave. I taunt him, and he proceeds to jump down onto my bed and approach me. I vainly raise a fist, get ready to strike him, bring my fist down, and...

Wake up in my bed, hitting my sheets. No alien in sight.

Then I laughed my ass off to myself for not realizing Old Hag Syndrome was happening to me. I could have actually had a fucking WILD, but I ended up thinking it was real life, instead.

I had trouble getting to sleep, mainly because I didn't know if I could handle something like that again. I ended up having a few more extremely minor cases of old hag syndrome throughout the night, but I didn't push it through to a lucid dream, quite simply because I was too damn scared it might turn into some sort of bad lucid.

So... I guess what I'm asking is this:

Any advice on turning accidental WILDs and Old Hag Syndromes into something more?

Lmfao, funny read. All my WILDs have been accidents as well. Umm... I guess you could keep trying and eventually you'll be aware enough to realize you're in SP.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

      That was brilliant!

Maybe just try to remember that everything is in your head and can't harm you.

Dude, your damn alien paid me a little visit last night... It wasn't pretty, either. At one point, right before I was about to shit my pants from fear, I woke up and wrote about it in my DJ, only to find in the morning it was actually a false awakening... We gotta do something to get rid of this guy.

LOL, this is similar to what happened to me. I woke up in the middle of the night and thought "Hey, might as well try a WILD." I think I lost consciousness during the transition so technically it was a WBTB I guess... But anyways I felt unsafe where I currently was so I tried to fly away. I throw up my arms like superman and...! hit my goddamn hands on my goddamn night stand...
What do you think of my transportation/spawning method/hypothesis? ... I think it's pretty badass...
