Exclamation Something odd about my dreams.

Last night, I couldn't feel or hear anything in the dream, I was lucid, but my movements were limited, also the dream seemed to be in "Third Person".

If anyone knows the cause of this, I would be happy to know.

P.S, I am normally an epic dreamer, my milestone is five LDs in one night.

Maybe just a random bad lucid. If I were you I would compare my next lucid with this one to see if there's consistency
What do you think of my transportation/spawning method/hypothesis? ... I think it's pretty badass...

Serg, I almost always dream in third person before becoming lucid. Sometimes I see myself and realize I don't look right, and then can become lucid and swing into first person. I wish I could help you more, but I do sympathize on the troubles of third person dreaming.

I couldn't help thinking this, but, out of curiosity do you play any third-person video games? I've always wondered if that causes that.

Other than that, it is probably just a glitch you will get over. Maybe try believing your third person self is actually another person you are looking at and then try directing your attention to rubbing your own hands or looking at and touching objects nearby.

      First person only games.
And they are starting to get "Foggy", my feeling is coming back.
      Also, I have non-lucids perfectly.

We always go through our phases where we fail because we tell ourselves to. It's the same as anxiety. Do you really think some people have brain problems because they have anxiety? No, they don't have brain problems. Yes it is a big problem, but you can get rid of it by training yourself nothing is wrong and it will go away on its own. This problem can be solved just like anxiety. Just tell yourself to stop thinking it's happening, that you have a body and you need to get back into it, and concentrate hard on that. Eventually you will no longer be aware of this odd issue, so it won't be a part of your lucid dreams.

Third person dreams are totally normal. I have at least one a week. But how do you become lucid in third person...? i Never become lucid in third person.

Sergron, I was having trouble with this as well. Now, when I'm falling asleep, I try to imagine places in random succession while trying to maintain a first person viewpoint. I started off trying to jump ten different places without losing a first person perspective (which took a few nights), and now I've just kept upping the number. After I hit my target number, I either try and just stay in the setting and drift off, or get up for some water and let my mind wander itself to sleep. I don't know what caused me to go all third person, but this exercise really seemed to help. Hope you can find it of some use!
