Is lucid dreaming a state of mine or a oobe

As mucha s i look it up on the internet some people claim it is a oobe and others call it a state of mind. Me myself i think it is a state of mind because it has been investigated by scientists but if anyone can come to my board and share there opinion and tell me why they think what they think that would be helpful.

And lastly be patient with me im new

Having a normal dream and having a lucid are dream are the same exact thing in every respect, except for that in a lucid dream, you know you are dreaming. And last I heard, dreaming is just a state of mind.

It's weird how so many people think lucid dreaming is some sort of magical experience, and their spirit is somehow transported into another plain or realm, just because they see a blue dog and realize they are dreaming.

you mean on the internet right, just go here and click create journal http://dreamviews.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=18

of course you don't need a dream journal just try to explore your dreams a bit, like recalling a memery, I just sit around thinking and remembering what it felt like to be in the dream, I'm probly the only one on this board that will give you that advice though, on the fact my dream journal is dead, but I'm posting in it again soon. plus posting in a dream journal is fun because you can read your past dreams

Keeping a journal helps you remember your dreams, even in the very very long run. I can go to the beginning of my journal and start reading and remember all the images from what I wrote down. It's especially helpful if you're just beginning, but a bunch of the most experienced people here keep them.
And it doesn't have to be online, I personally use a composition notebook under my pillow with a pen in it. I also keep a flashlight under there for good measure

But of course you might definately be able to get by without. I haven't been able to, though. I quit for a couple of months, and my recall went down the drain (I was usually remembering 2 or 3 a night, too! Now I'm right back to PART of one... sucks, eh?)

And for the original question, you could easily fit LDing into your belief structure as astral travel, just like daydreaming.
