Thread: Was This Lucid Dreaming? :U

I think I might have just had my first lucid dream last night :O But it was really different to how I would have thought being lucid would feel like - just thinking logically within a dream. Is this what it's meant to feel like?
This is why I'm kinda confused; it was a short dream so I'll try and type it out:

Well, before becoming lucid I have no recall of dreaming whatsoever, maybe being in a stranger's house or something.. anyway. I appeared in the hall of my house, and walked into my room when suddenly I started thinking of lucid dreams, like I had hit a nerve and suddenly remembered. I tried rubbing my hands together (can't believe I'm typing this, after reading of so many other people doing this xD) to keep myself lucid - but this only made it worse! The dream literally started fading away, and I could feel myself going into dreamless sleep again (I know, it sounds weird - but dreaming is weird lol). So I looked at myself in my wardrobe mirror [thinking "Oh damn I'm probably going to scare myself with what I'll look like" as I turned around].. but no, it was just me in my pyjamas (xD) looking back.. then I think I woke up .___.

I'm pretty sure this was lucid, but it was just so random that I kinda didn't expect it at all... was it lucid? xD
