wierd and interesting. has any of this happened to you?

I have had some wierd experiences and just was wondering if anyone has experienced anything like them. Ive awoken from two lucid dreams and hallucinated. 1 time my eyes opened and i saw machinery what looked like a fire detector with a little light on my ceiling. I stared at it until it vanished a few seconds later. I then did reallity checks and got up. (it was definately not a dream). The other time there was some object on my window ceil but it was unclear and vanished just like the last one. It was a dark room and you can hallucinate because ur brain has little light information to interpret, but this has not happened to me except for those two times where i awoke from a lucid. Also i sometimes have trouble keeping my eyes closed when im falling asleep. I have had lucid dreams where it seems my real eyes open and i can see my ceiling, then i shut them. It seems to be the real world in a hole cut in my dream. however i cant be positive because, well, im in a dream. One time, i believe i was in paralysis and my eyes were open because i could see my ceiling. at the time i just thought i was just dreaming because i was hearing strange noises. but i couldnt move my vision really it kept coming back to the same place. but could sort of move. i eventually turned my vision and everything was just morphing like crazy, but then my vision snapped back to the same spot on my ceiling. i could see my fan spinning too. i was stuck there and could hear a dog panting coming closer. and could feel it bumping into my head with its nose. my guess is that i was really seeing the ceiling and my imaginitive dream mind (that was working abviously because of the dog) could make me think i was looking elsewhere which is why it was all morphy.

Actually this happens to me a lot, i just have always figured your brain is in an "in-between-state" so to speak. it isn't unconscious and also isn't completely conscious. Almost as if your dreams are projecting out into the real world, or maybe the real world is projecting in on your dreams? who knows? i usually hear a strange buzzing sound (almost like a Didgeridoo) followed by a resonating frequency. I also see distortions of things that are in my room, like you said, just hallucinations. Lastly, i do recall one time i awoke in my room and was in sleep paralysis, i tried so hard to move that i eventually jumped up and began floating above my bead, almost as if i jumped out of myself. i looked down at my bed but i didn't see myself laying there. But you are not the only one that this has happened to. hope this helped

I've seen everything from dark and coated figures in my rooms. (Kinda mafia style) To dancing french fries. It's kinda weird, but only lasts for seconds. So, I'm not bothered

I rolled over to turn off my alarm clock this morning and saw a shadow person a few feet away reaching for the clock as well. It disappeared after only a second but it was there. I then did a reality check and I was awake. I had an FA involving a shadow person on August 2. A few days ago.

I have hallucinations on waking all the time. I once got up to pee, walked to the bathroom followed by my long-dead cat, who then rubbed up against my legs while I peed and then jumped on the sink when I washed my hands. Fortunately mine never wind up too freaky, but it can be quite entertaining.

This happens to me all the time when WILDing. I'm not sure if I am actually seeing things breaking through from real life or if it is all a dream. I often look at the ceiling or the wall right after SP sets in and see an object of some kind- a pencil, a pillow, a heating vent, a doorknob- that is not there in real life. Or the other night I had the opposite effect where my alarm clock (showing the correct time) was superimposed over the dream.

When I was younger I'd wake up in the middle of the night and see snakes, bees, spiders, or something like that. I'd run to another room and that's where I'd wake up in the morning. So it wasn't a dream.
