      Visualization Mild Question

      I've been doing a little reading on the " Visualization MILD " technique. Does anyone have any luck with this method? It seems like it'd be more easy than a regular MILD. I find it hard to " Be aware I'm dreaming ", or remembering to do an RC in my Dream ( I've only been at 4.5 days lol ).

      I think this visualization method would really help when it comes to concentrating. I know when I'm lying there at night time trying to " clear my mind " and implant these mantras in my head that my mind wanders and these random thoughts scroll through the back of my head. I think if you actually are trying to SEE what you want to dream about ( like a dream scenario ), it'd be more easy to concentrate on dreaming, and less on random thoughts.

      Heres my question(s):

      1: When doing the Visualization technique is it really just that? Like just think about where you want to be, etc while falling asleep?

      2: When doing this method, will you be aware when you enter the dream like with the Hypnagogic Hallucinations, WILD etc? Instead of falling asleep THEN becoming aware?

      3: Is it like Hypnagogic method, like you start to really think of a dream scenario, and it you see it slowly form behind your eyelids.

      I just think it'd be easier to LD while being aware before you fall asleep. Once I fall asleep, it's over lol. It seems like it'd be hard to MAKE yourself aware or MAKE yourself do an RC after already falling asleep.

      1: Yes

      2: You fall asleep THEN turn lucid. The thought is that you will see the place your imagining and then you do an RC

      3: No you imagine it in your head and when you end up there you say "hey this is my imagery" and then do a RC.

      SIDE NOTE: V-MILD is just part of MILD. Stephan laberge said in his book that the point of MILD was putting the intention to do something latter in your DREAM. So that you put the thought of MILD in your head during waking and then remember to become lucid in your dream.

      way to nail it, dako!

      The thing with MILD is that this is a technique almost not for lucid dreaming. I mean not only for lucid dreaming. It is almost a mental and spiritual conditioning, working with your psyche, your mind, etc to implant ideas about becoming lucid. For the visualization, you need to really visualize wewll and evoke feelings for it to be effective. Thus, it should have an extremely high percent chance of working.

      I think it is better than WILD. WILD is an on the spot, almost quick fix in my opinion, whereas MILD pays off in the long run. You should try MILD for a few weeks and then if you sitill don't like it, then switch. I got my first two lucids within a month of starting to learn to MILD in Percy's MILD class.

      Hope that helped
