Thread: Sleep talking?.

Hey everyone.

I was just thinking.. Why do people sleep talk?.

I didn't know this but apparently I sleep talk A LOT. Anytime I have slept over my friends place or she sleeps over here, I always sleep talk. I guess I probably sleep talk every night, I really need to tape it actually, it would be interesting to see the results.

Does anyone here sleep talk?. If you know you do, how often do you think you sleep talk?.

In terms of evolution, paralyzing your mouth doesn't make sense. You can't hurt yourself sleep talking.

You could attract the attention of unwelcome visitors though

I had other people tell me that I talk in my sleep too, but I think it happens quite rarely to me, and almost never when I'm in my usual sleeping environment (i.e. my bedroom, and not someone else's place or a hotel etc).
