So I just joined TSA at my school, and I was looking for a category to compete in competitions. One such competition caught my eye, and it was Video Game Design.
Basically, the requirements for doing this is that the game must be E rated, be entertaining, have some kind of plot and levels, and have some value socially and educationally.

My partner and I were brainstorming what kind of game would be educational, yet cool enough to entertain the likes of us and the judges...

And that's where the memory of a past lucid dream kicked in

A while back, I dreamed that I was in a video game. The setting was placed in 2075, where the Earth was semi-flooded (you could still see major tall stuff above the water) from a disaster involving the Sun. In order to drain the Earth of all the water, you had to gather 4 keys which were scattered around the world. Once you gathered the 4 keys, you would head towards the center of the Earth and "use" the keys to drain the water.

Well as I was in this dream, a GUI type menu popped up, and a hint spawned. It was a clue for the location of the first key, and it went like "Ooh La La! The First key must have a sense of Romance in high places!"

So I thought, "the key must be in Paris!" So I selected Paris on my mini map and I was found looking at a submarine floating on water. Apparently, it was in Paris, because I could see the Eiffel Tower sticking out of the water. I tried moving the submarine, and I could. Then my "screen" flashed red, and a message popped up saying "Enemy Alert!" I zoomed out and could see enemy submarines closing and firing torpedoes. I dodged, and saw the key on the Eiffel Tower. I literally jumped out of the water with the submarine (Whilst rolling in mid air to avoid an air-borne torpedo ) and got the key.

It continued like this in various settings for a couple of levels till I got all 4 keys and won the game

Now, guess who's about to make this LD into a real life video game for TSA competition

It's both educational (You learn Geography) and entertaining (lots of explosions ), and it so happens I'm a programmer and can do this!

Keep your eyes peeled in a couple of months and I'll post the link to the finished product for you to try out

Wish me luck, and go LDing!
