Thread: First LEGIT lucid dream?! I think so! What technique did I use?

So I think I had my first actual lucid dream!

This morning I kept waking up and falling asleep, during which I started dream. During my dream, me and my brother where playing some kind of board game and then he stopped us to say that we had to drive to pick up his friend, so we hit the road. When we got to his friends house, I looked in the car mirror and realized my hair was a mess and I refused to meet his friend like that... lol. So we left and I looked at my hair again and my hair was normal so we went back to his friend's house. Before we entered the house, I woke up.

HERE'S THE GOOD PART!

I fell asleep again and woke up in the same dream. Me and my brother were in the car going to his friend's house. I didn't do a reality check or anything, but for some reason I KNEW I was dreaming. I turned to my brother and explained to him that I was dreaming. I just started shouting at my brother in the car, "Did you know that I'm dreaming?! You're not real! hahaha This is a dream, I'm dreaming!" I then proceed to touch my brother's face (weird reaction, I know lol) and I actually felt it! Then my brother turned to me and said something like "This might be a dream, but I'm pretty sure that I'm real. I'm pretty sure I'm actually here". All of a sudden I started feeling like a weirdo and started to question whether or not it was actually a dream... and then I woke up.

Sounds like a legit lucid dream to me!

Based on the story, what technique did I use to achieve this? WILD? WBTB? Something else? Thanks!
