Question Question: lucid dream or real life?

Lucid dream or a ghost actually :p
      so here's my dream:
I decided to go to sleep and so I layed down and closed my eyes, a few seconds after I closed them I heard keys outside my bedroom door. I knew someone was coming into my room so I told myself to just pretend that I'm asleep. I was facing my wall and I could hear the footsteps get closer and then stop at my bed. I imagined a hand coming to my back and right when the hand grabbed my back I suddenly woke up with a gasp. So now I was really awake and I felt an electric numbness on my back that seemed to be in the shape of a hand and the feeling stayed there for about 10 seconds after I woke up. I layed there frozen and thought was it a ghost or the dream?! 5 minutes passed and I finally got the courage to turn around but there was nothing there, Ahh it was soooo scary!

What do you guys think. Of course the first thing I thought was that it was a ghost bc my sister had experianced something tug her blanket the night before so I thought "
now it's come to get me!" haha

      I think it could be
      1. A ghost
2 the lucid dream but I was sorta still A bit in the lucid state since I kept my eyes closed and didn't move

Also, has this ever happened to anyone??

      -thanks!

      Maybe it was sleep paralysis.
Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

Yeah I also thought of that shortly after posting this..but probably not bc I really felt a hand in the middle of my back haha it was pretty significant to the dream..I'm leaning more towards my second option now. Hmmm..

it was SP. my mum had something grab her hair and pull it back, so i would say it was SP. also some people say they have felt things breathing on their neck etc etc
They say dreaming is dead, no one does it anymore.
It's not dead it's just that it's been forgotten, removed from our language.
Nobody teaches it so nobody knows it exists.
The dreamer is banished to obscurity.
Well, I'm trying to change all that, and I hope you are too.
      By dreaming, every day.

Actually..I've experienced that one or two times. I was a bit tired during mid-day and I went to take a nap, then it started to happen, I heard noises, I felt a presence, I couldn't move, I tried to scream, nothing worked. And the weirdest part of it was that i was like just a room away from the living room where my family was sitting and watching TV, I could hear them and the TV so it was really scary to be so close to them but not being able to call for help or anything :/

If your mom has never heard of sleep paralysis, you cant blame her for believing it was a demon of some sort, cause I did too believe that it was an evil force until i had heard of sleep paralysis.

So everyone is saying it was sleep paralysis..thanks guys I'll do research on that, all I know is that sleep paralysis is actually pretty normal although not everyone experiances it regularly and it's nothing to worry about of course unless it does happen constantly, is that right?

I'll tell you what it is, it's a great Halloween story! You've got a couple weeks to polish it and you can have kids screaming off of your porch
