what induction technique was this

So this morning I think I had just woken up from a dream and I was just laying in bed with my eyes closed. I decided that I should try and visualize myself rubbing my carpet in my room. So I starting visualizing the feeling and then all the sudden I started seeing my dream hands rubbing my carpet. I could only see my hands and feel the carpet and it went away. So I tried it again but this time it was more clear, but I disappeared again. So I tried it one more time but this time I saw my hands rubbing my carpet and my room started appearing. Then I was in my room, in my dream rubbing my carpet. I wanted to go to my backyard, so I crawled to my door and pulled some blue tie of from in between my doors and opened my door. I got up and walked into my hallway and screamed, "I'm dreaming." I then procceded to my backyard, but when I got to my kitchen, for some reason I decided to open my actuall eyes, and then they did. Was this a deild with just some visualizaton?

V-WILD sounds like, or DEILD. As far as I'm concerned they're one and the same, though DEILD is identified by being a V-WILD done with the aid of having woken up within a minute or two from another period of sleep. Semantics aren't greatly important, but if you're looking for how to pull it off again you'll want to look into DEILD techniques. Nice job either way.

Yea I was guessing it was deild with some visualization. Can there be a v-deild?

My reaction to that was "why does that matter?" DEILD traditionally involves visualization because, like I said, it's a V-WILD that goes by a different only because it has to occur after you had been previously asleep. (Links may help.) A V-DEILD is equivalent to a DEILD but with added redundancy.

But it's good that you're thinking about the different methods.

Alright, gotcha. Yea I know the difference. I'm one of those guys that researched every technique and tried most of them when I first started LDing again.
