Lucid Dream access to real world?

My boyfriend and I are into lucid dreaming, although he is much more experienced than me. I have only been able to obtain lucidity 3 times now in the past 6 months, and they have all been on nights I wasn't trying to in the first place. Last night I had a dream that I realized I was dreaming and tried to hop really high, but I knew I had to focus because I would lose it really easily and fall back asleep. It is really one of the most amazing experiences I can ever think of going through, and I wish I could do it better. I had a dream about something after I became lucid, and looked it up and it turned out to be something true that I had no previous knowledge of before the dream. This has also happened to my boyfriend before too. Does anyone else think that you can tap into other areas of true knowledge while dreaming? Almost like it is a gift of knowledge, that people don't usually pay attention to because it is not something common?

Certainly! Our brains work fast when we are in our dreaming state than they would soberly work during waking life, most of the time. I believe that our brain processes information at a certain speed. We can do things to alter this speed, and it does alter naturally. If you'd like to hear more on this just PM me.

yep I totally agree, I've done this several times. I think your brain is just so powerful it can subconsciously figure what most likely will happen...

the brain is a powerfull organ and can do almost anything if trained correctly.
Dripping time into a seed that grows into the world and sprouts a fruit that ripens into humans. They stretch up into the sky looking for purpose, wandering when and if their time has come. Realizing the potential they have, they select their paths which weave in and out to make the good and the bad, the pure and the corrupt...
