Hi folks.

So here's the thing, I haven't had a nightmare since I was a little kid. I once had a dream where I was schizophrenic — after which I woke up convinced I was insane; until I realised it was a dream — but I've not had one of those blood churning, scream curdling nightmares, that many people have, since I was real little.

So given that fact, how screwed up is it that before bed I was reading creepy stories and watching vreepy videos, had a DILD and almost turned my lucid dream into a damn nightmare? Pretty stupid right?

The worst thing is that I believe that I wouldn't have even come close to a nightmare if I hadn't become lucid. The fact that I had kind of creeped myself out and the fact that I gained control over the dream is what lead, in my opinion, to this horrible, disgusting, tingling, bad feeling all over my body that was so paralysing, in the fear it delivered, that I could barely get out of bed (immediately after my RC, I found myself in bed).

Once that feeling came over me — that horrible fear — I stopped and closed my eyes in my dream and comforted myself by saying 'It's cool, it's just a dream.' Once I did that, I woke up.

So now the question; Is there anyone else out there that has gone years without a nightmare, only to accidently turn one of their lucids into a nightmare?
Anyone else with opinions or comments would be very welcome to share.

Thanks in advance, guys.
