      Just wondering.

So I've been wondering about this for a while. Say in a night where you have no recall, is it possible that you could have had a lucid? My brother's also told me his theory on remember dreams. He said that you only remember dreams when you wake up before it ends. Since you wouldn't really know the dream is ending, since you won't remember it. This may be true for non-lucids. Just a theory to think about.

Yes, you probably had many lucid dreams before but you missed it because of dream recall. That's what you should improve that before anything else like RCing but it won't hurt if you do.

It's weird though, since any lucid dream I have, I always remember. Since I'll usually do, or not do, something which wakes me up and I write it down.

In my experience it seems like lucids are a lot easier to remember but I could have forgotten them before.

Im just guessing here but maybe you remember lucid dreams easier because you place your conscious mind within the dream world...increasing recall?

But how would you know if you'd had one and forgotten about it?

Exactly why I've been pondering this.
