Dream Guides?

I remember reading somewhere on this forum about dream guides awhile back but I didn't pay much attention to it. What is a dream guide?

I had my second lucid dream recently. I realized I was dreaming in an empty room (and I couldn't get out because I was hiding from something prior to my realisation). From my experience in my first lucid dream, I assumed I couldn't control my dream so I was pissed off that I was having a LD in an empty room.

Funny thing is, Jet Li suddenly appeared in that room and I had a feeling he could help me. So I told him, "I don't want a horror dream, I want a nice, romance dream."

"You don't want a horror dream?" He smirked.

"Nope."

He takes out a Wii remote and presses some buttons and teleports both of us out to some Sci-fi looking place.

"WOW I want one of those!" I exclaimed.

Jet Li hands me the remote for a look and feel.

"Are you from the higher ups you know?" I asked.

Jet Li goes on and explains how he didn't really like the ones who control the systems and shit but I can't remember what he said because I was messing with the remote. The next thing I knew, I had an immense urge to close my eyes and then I woke up.

So is Jet Li like my dream guide?

Maybe, maybe not. The fact that he swooped in to help makes him a possibility. But I find that you only seem to get a real DG by calling for him/her. Otherwise, chances are he was just a random DC.

Hey...
Well,one way to find out is next time you have an LD ask him...
If he keeps appearing in your dreams and helps you out,then he's probably your dream-guide..
You could simple call out for your dream guide and see if it will be him who appears...
