So just now I got up after yet another failed WILD attempt.
But I'm feeling optimistic. Every time I fail a wild it seems to
get closer and closer. Just hope its not an asymptote effect .
Anyway so I didn't actually decide to try to wild. I was actually
just going to go to sleep normally then I was remember some of
the stuff I read here and started focusing on my breathing. I
did this for a while and eventually my entire body was numb
including a straight line down my back where my spinal column is.
It started getting really hard to breathe and I noticed this and was
not afraid but excited. I knew that difficulty breathing is an effect
of sleep paralysis so I knew I was close. Then I made the mistake
of moving my finger. I immediately noticed my breathing get easier.
I kept trying but my arm was starting to hurt for some reason and
eventually it got too painful. My question is how close was I? and
what was with my arm hurting for no apparent reason. It was more
like a stress pain though, as if my arm had been holding something
heavy for the past ten minutes.

Thanks for the input,
~Wes
