      Some Questions about Sleep Paralysis?

I recently posted this on Yahoo Answers but I didn't get the info I needed. Just wanted to know a bit more about SP.

      1. I really love the idea of lucid dreaming, but I heard sleep paralysis was a common side effect. Is this only for people who use variations of the WILD technique or does it fit for all dreamers?

      2. Is there a way to prevent SP?

      3. Would someone who has no problems waking up even in the earliest of mornings (like 2:30) still have problems?

      4. Do people with sleep-walking/talking problems have less SP experiences than other people?

      Thank you for your time.

Like anything else, I think you just need to take it in stride. Its like asking if there is a way to avoid a bad trip, its just part of what happens I guess, go with it. I still havent had full SP, but am awaiting it. Wouldnt mind it being the horrorshow I have read about either, its good sometimes to see how scared, or how small you can actually feel.

before i knew what SP is, I thought I was being haunted by a succubus or that i'm going to die while sleeping because it really is scary. There was a time that i'm conscious, my eyes are open but i can't move even my fingers. I tried to scream out but no sound came out. But then I started to stay calm while I know I'm having an SP, and it felt okay. So just don't panic when you have one

There is nothing that scary about SP, I often have it. I remember the first time I had it - I was on a camping trip with a friend and it did scare me a little as I'd never heard of it before. But if you have heard of SP and know that it is nothing to worry about, then the first time you have it won't be frightening.

It can fit all dreamers. It depends. In fact, after having a full blown lucid dream you may find yourself sitting in SP after it is over.

No, but you can break out of it if you try. But note that landing in SP can be a good thing, as you may end up in a lucid dream afterwards, assuming you don't try and break out of it.

What do you mean? Waking up easily shouldn't affect lucid dreaming.

      I'm not sure. I wouldn't think so.
