Trouble Locating my Dream Guide...Help!

So last night, I had 2 very long LD's, the last in which I thought I was about to find my dream guide, but I woke up right before I was supposed to (you can read the dream in my dream journal, the link is in my signature).

I've never really actively searched for him/her before, but I was wondering if anyone has any advice, or if anyone has had similar problems in the past. I'm wanting to locate my guide pretty badly. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure what to believe of Dream Guides actually, but I think you need to let he/she/it come to you. He/she/it will know when you're ready to hear the advice. How can you be sure when you force the DG out with a command or summon? Might just be a random DC. I dunno really haha, but that's what I would do

Yes, I was thinking that forcing them is probably not a good idea, but man, I was determined last night! I just get impatient I suppose.

well anything in a dream is your subconscious. It is just a special DC that is the "key to your subconscious" if you will; so yes you are pretty much right. You can ask it questions about yourself and all that jazz~

Well next LD you heave, yell out "where is my dream guide. come to me" or something like that, then once it gets to you, ask it "Are you my dream guide" and it's name, etc.
Or think "the next time I open a door, my dream guide will be there". You will find him/her/it sometime

and I have a question, how did you get those 2 LD's? any specific method?

I used the MILD method.

I repeated "I will become lucid" in my head over and over while I was falling asleep. It works about half the time I try it...this is the most success I've ever had, though.
