      succesful WILD?

i know probably the best time to attempt a wild is either during a nap in the middle of the day or after waking in the middle of the night. I am curious if anyone has had any success WILD'ing at the time you would normally go to bed at night. I just recently decided to give WILD'ing a shot. It seems difficult to achieve and thats kept me from trying it out until now. Im gonna try it before i go to bed since its a weekday and i have to be up early anyway.

For me I can't do it before sleep. My brother tells me though before going to bed he gets in SP and starts seeing geometric shapes. So you have to try and see for yourself.

Whenever I have had a WILD, it has almost always been done during a nap. And the few other times that it wasnt during a nap, it was sometime in the early morning, around three or four, when I had woken up with out an alarm and decided I might as well make use of this time. I have tried many times before going to bed at night, and although I have gotten into SP and had extremely convincing hallucinations, I havent been able to actually become lucid at this time of day.

yea even if i can't attain a lucidity from it i still think itd be neat to get to SP and experience some of that stuff. Ive been trying it the past 2 nights. first night about 10-15 min into it i started feeling myself bounce in my bed a little but i didn't even think about it and opened my eyes and looked around lol...woops. my biggest problem is not being able to keep my mind awake. ill keep a visual in my head of some landscape and also imagine myself rubbing my hands or something but somewhere along the way i drift off to sleep. just gonna keep going at it till i get it right!

Yeah, it usually helps in the morning because you're still very tired from waking up (Everyone knows the feeling) and you can easily go straight into a Lucid dream because you can fall asleep within seconds. I had one by that method this morning. I think it's advised to be physically tired before you go to bed, although I think overall it's just harder before you go to bed at night.
