There was only one most perfect and beautiful of the Angels, and that was Lucifer. The vast majority of people will be disappointed if their aim is to be better than everybody else. It simply is impossible for more than one person to be the best. Particularly if you have already noticed a trend, of yourself always running in mid-pack, it would be a failure to be realistic to suppose that you will somehow suddenly emerge as Number One.

There are two ways of orienting oneself toward the World -- the Barbarian Way and the Civilized Way. The Barbarian always aims at being a Chieftan -- the Head Bandit. I suppose this is your corrent frame of mind. You see everything as a competition. But then there is the Civilized Way of dealing with Life. The Civilized Person will find his place on the Team. The question is not in how to triumph over a World which one has made into a collective of enemies, but rather one should consider how one can best contribute to the General Welfare.

Seriously though, I do agree that dreams can be much realer (that's the worst word ever!) than computer images. The problem with dreaming is that you may not be able to see detail as clearly as a computer image. But then again, computers can't really be as complex as our dreams. BUT, this equation may differ:
