As you get older it becames harder to LD

I've read that as you get older it becomes harder and harder to Lucid dream, in this text they also said that in the phase of puberty it was harder to LD. Is there anyone older in this forum that can either backup this affirmation or prove it wrong. Also they say that if you choose to see yourself in the mirror in a lucid dream to be prepared to confront the way you see yourself, isn't this part a bit esoteric?

1. I have read that is harder to LD when you get older because you don't have as much as an imagination or something like that. I asked my grandpa if he has any dreams and he said no. If you keep practicing though then I'm sure it won't be hard at all I think it's just if you start lucid dreaming at an older age. I am only 13 so I can't prove that wrong. 2. You would find many different things if you look at a mirror in a dream/ lucid dream. You can look in the mirror and just see yourself normally or see like a cheeseburger. It's a dream, anything can happen.

"In the phase of puberty it was harder to LD" ? Really? Is there a barrier to lucid dreaming? I just know that I'm not having any effort at luciding. And now that you've mentioned it..I wonder when will I automatically stop luciding -or will it go on forever-? lol
