Thread: Power of hypnagogia? Or another state? Help!

When I am experiencing HI, I find it easiest to think. I am a programmer and most of my ideas come from thinking during a HI.

I have trouble remembering daily facts, and during school I use to rewrite all my notes until I remembered them all. Recently, during HI I switch my thoughts over to my school subjects, I start thinking of what happened during classes and my readings. Usually I lose focus of what I was trying to think of and my mind starts flowing by itself and then I slip into a nap or sleep, or, I just stay in this state for a long time. What is this called, is it a form of hypnagogia or something else? I have been looking around and cannot find the answer.

And if you are wondering, my marks and memory have increase dramatically with less studying by using this technique.

It's okay, Eintstein did the same I think it's something to do with less blood needed around the body so it floods your brain more making it more powerful.

That makes sense, Einstein did it ? That makes me feel . . . smarter. haha, off to google I go with this new info! Thanks
