      What kinda sleep problems?
      Goals:
      1. Attacking my enemies instead of running away from them~ Ultimately taking control of my dream situation.
      2. Remember that I can always summon a shield around me to protect myself in dreams. No need to fear!

@Shinice: Well the kind of sleep problems im talking about is actually getting to sleep itself. It takes me hours to fall asleep. Say if i went to bed at around 11:00pm i will fall asleep at around 2:00am lol. My mind is to active and just can't shutdown quick enough.

I have that same problem. I can lay in bed 4 hours without falling asleep. Maybe it has something to do with my environment? This only happens when I try sleeping in the bedroom. When I sleep in the living room, with the TV on (very low volume,) I fall asleep easier and faster. You could try creating a story, imagining a dream or meditating before bed. Something like melatonin might help.

Yh u have a point. It could be the environment, but i've always had this problem since i was a kid. Maybe i should try some melatonin or i might give meditation a go. (I've heard a lot of good things about meditating)

      Nice avatar OP.

I'm in the exact same boat as you. I started being 100% at it since last monday. I went from no recall what so ever to writing 2-3 dreams everyday.

first thing you have to is start. just start writing what ever you can. first day it may just be a few sentences but it will add up, eventually it will be a page or two. When you first wake up, you CANNOT think about anything else just focus on your dreams.

your inability to fall asleep is what I also felt before i realized something. Then i realized something; I'm just not tired at the end of the day. mind is connected to the body, right? If my body is not tired then my mind is not either. So what i did is start a weight lifting and cardio regime everyday. At around 3-4:30pm I suggest lifting heavy at around 3x8 rep scheme. after that do around 20-30 min of cardio. Why do this? Well because we humans were designed to do intensive work. Hunting, gathering, farming etc; now in our modern times we live a comfortable life where we don't really do intensive work.

ALSO doing exercise raises the body temp and then drops after 5-6 hours. when it drops this helps making sleep easier. ALSO ALSO, weightlifting causes tears muscle fibers which are repaired in REM stage. The more heavy you lift the more repairing you need.

      sooo tl;dr
      - write anything everyday in you DJ
      - Weightlifting & cardio 5-6 hours b4 sleeping
      - take some melatonin if you want
      - eat healthy too, more nutrients = better health = better sleep

if you do this right you might just get swole
