Are you sure you are actually in sleep paralysis? There are many stages of sleep paralysis building up to actually becoming paralyzed, and sometimes newcomers will mistake these early stages for actual paralysis. Next time you are in this state try to move a finger and see if you can. If you are completely paralyzed then there are multiple ways to enter a dream. If you just follow the hypnogogic imagery you should eventually find your self in a dream. Or you can try rolling over on your side and your dream body will roll out of your physical body. Or you can feel the weight of gravity push you down into your bed until you are underneath your body and then you know you are in a dream. Or you can try feeling like you are spinning in circles and a dream will eventually form around you. There are MANY ways of entering a dream from SP. The main thing is to remain calm and focused, and you will eventually find yourself in a dream.

ive been in sleep paralysis a couple times, but the last times it startled me, because they happened very fast, within 10seconds, so you get a kind of shock which broke my paralysis. The times after that it startled me because i saw some "unfriendly" hallucinations. but then one time i couldnt move, and nothing happened,, so i used all my force to move and then i was out of my trance. so if this happens again, do i wait? or do the roll over?

When you say you're in SP, is it a full SP? Are you completely paralyzed and unable to move even with all the energy in the world, or are you just very heavy and relaxed?

Sounds like a good SP. Lying there with your eyes shut and relaxing/breathing, you should start to see some images, just lay there and notice them, become absorbed in them. Hope this helps
