Was I really lucid - First Lucid Dream

I was getting out of my mams car with my mam and she said to me that I am dreaming. I didnt believe her so I asked a builder working at a construction site nearby and he nodded his head. I done the nose pinch reality check a few times to confirm and it worked each time. I then decided the first thing i wanted to do was fly. I jumped and was airbourne for about 6 seconds. I then ran and dived out over a nearby river and started Flying ( Swimming in mid-air more like ). I then said to my mam that I dont want to forget this dream when i wake up ( Wasnt fully aware that she was just a dream character ). I then went off just looking around and trying to spawn people ( Unsuccessful ). Then i thought back to my real body and the dream faded away and i awoke to a false awaking ( That i didnt realise ) and started writing down my dream and told my dad that i had a lucid dream.

I was just wondering if this was an actual lucid dream or just part of the dream plot? Because when i became lucid It never occured to me that the people where just dream characters and everything didnt become very vivid. And when i think back on the dream it just feels like a dream not a lucid one.

Just one question - Do lucid dreams feel like normal dreams when u awake or are they more like real life memories?

You were told it was a dream, proceed to find the proof (asked a builder, did RC), realized that it is a dream and made conscious decision to try flying. Sounds like lucid dream to me
Even if you are lucid it doesn't mean you will definitely will be as conscious as in waking life. And LD itself doesn't have to be vivid. But you can stabilize it and increase vividness.
      Congrats on your success

Thanks , But is it possible to be as conscious as you are in waking life in a ld?
I was only really semi-Conscious , if i had been fully i wouldnt of just ran and dived in there air and start flying

Yes, it's possible Have no idea how that happened, but in my first lucid I was as conscious as I am in waking life. After that I was less conscious.

Your consciousness and awareness can vary within lucid dreams. A lucid dream is simply knowing that you are dreaming. However, dream stabilization as soon as you realize you are dreaming will greatly help in becoming truly aware and conscious. That way, it feels like real life
