      What Lucid Dreaming really is?

So I was thinking about what lucid dreaming really was and I recall trying it, putting the dots on my hand and checking it hundreds of times as a reality check for like a week, sure enough I had a dream where I realize I was in a dream and I still remember the dream, rather clearly too. But I was thinking that lucid dreaming is just you dreaming about you being able to control your dreams so you dream about it. I remember poking walls and stuff in alot of dreams due to performing reality checks all the time after reading about lucid dreaming, but even when I realized I was dreaming...or dreamed that I realized that I was dreaming, waking up and feeling like I wasn't really in control of what was happening, that I still had boundaries. Which made me think that lucid dreaming was just you dreaming of lucid dreaming, but that wouldn't explain remember it so clearly.

      TL;DR confused X_X

EDIT: So i'm new here I just wanted to share this with some people but I see theres alot of threads on "We only THINK we're Lucid Dreaming", when I "Lucid Dream" I wake up and its just another memory along with everything else in my life, but it sticks unlike other dreams? Also I only remember dreams when I sleep in, from like 7-10 AM, is this normal?

Lucid dreaming: being aware of the fact that you're in the dream, doesn't matter how.
You can have control without lucidity, and you can have lucidity without control.

I sure hope you aren't basing that on ONE lucid dream...?

I had one of these today infact. I knew I was dreaming, and I knew what I wanted to do but the feeling of the dream was just like a normal dream.
But still, when you lucid dream, and have full lucidity, you are pretty much just as conscious as you are in real life, so your theory of us dreaming about lucid dreaming doesn't sound right.

You dream all the time.... you just don't know your dreaming. I think to many people put a big wall between lucid and non lucid dreams.
Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake

It is in the Judeo Christian Scripture, it is a place to learn directly from what men call "God". It is also written that it would be taken away from mankind for a long time. In the story of Adam and Eve it is when Adam was put to sleep. In other text, God would take away the prophets through this deep sleep. It was also called the famine of the word. Since it is back, we are at a turning point in history.

It is a learning environment and as such, one really has to use their mind in it. All learning is for the express purpose of modifying human behavior. Also, what one learns is still up to the learner. No one can learn for you, not even this thing man calls "God." What you will learn has nothing to do with memorizing and repeating doctrine, but in fundamental psychological changes in the ability to use judgment.
