      Just a question....

Okay, so I'd like to know which LDing technique worked best for you. I know it varies from person to person, but I'm curious to know.

Definitely WBTB, I doubt I can LD without it.

Most of my lucid dream happens after a WBTB. WILDs are the most frequent after doing a WBTB. I figure DILD isn't as high up there for me because I tend to go on autopilot in my waking life. But I'm working on that

Thanks for replying! Personally, DILD works best for me.

I'm best at DILDing, I'd say. Though I have been known to dabble in VILDs.

WBTB is always a big help, but is that even considered a "proper technique"?
I thought it was more of an aid for all other techniques, considering that it greatly helps dream recall and you can WBTB at a good time to WILD.

Most of my LD's are DILD's
I'd say the easiest is DEILD though, as long as you are able to avoid moving when you wake up from a dream.
It's pretty hard to do that, but whenever I manage not to move it's pretty much a guaranteed LD.
      Dreams are simple.
It's the painfully simple things the human mind cannot comprehend.
After all your mind is trained to understand the complexity of the waking world,
not the simplicity of the dream world.

You're right. It's not really a technique. It's an aid. After a WBTB is a pretty effective time for using induction techniques like MILD, WILD, etc.

Probably the MILD, but I'm going to master the WILD; I did it once without prior sleep (but that was sheer luck). I'd love to be skilled enough to perform it daily.

I personally like DILD, DEILD, and WBTB the most. The thing is with WBTB is that if I drink 1 1/2 glass of water I won't wake up. It takes me about 3 glasses of water to wake myself up during the night or else I'll just wake up in the morning having to go to the bathroom really bad and you loose about a half hour of sleep using WBTB, but other than that it works quite well. DEILD is hard because when I wake up without having a lucid dream I usually move but when I do have a lucid dream I usually DEILD about 1/6 of the time sucsuessfuly, great techneque if you want to extend your lucid dreams.
DILD would have to be my favorite because you don't loose sleep during the night and it takes less effort than most techneques.
      DILD: 0 | WBTB: 0 | WILD: 0

      No methods
      Goals:
      1. Attacking my enemies instead of running away from them~ Ultimately taking control of my dream situation.
      2. Remember that I can always summon a shield around me to protect myself in dreams. No need to fear!
