In the last couple of weeks I recalled 5 or so lucid dreams, although - I haven't been journalling at all, the reality checking comes almost naturally in a lot of dreams now. I'm not certain, but I think this could be linked with the fact that I started meditating recently and practicing mindfullness more often - although, I have stopped doing that recently, and the lucids have pretty much stopped. They started becoming increasingly more vivid, with slightly more control than usual - but any thinking at all was done by my balls, and not my head. I need to be more 'awake' or in control, but its a definite improvement.
So - I highly reccomend meditation for 20-30 mins before bedtime, and practicing mindfullness in your daily life, worked well for me - and its fairly logical as well.
But anyone know of ways to improve dream control or how awake you are in the dream? I seem to control myself by what is almost instructing my dream body to do things.
