      Does everyone dream every night?

I usually wake up and feel that i don't dream at all so i don't think DILD would work for me because if im not dreaming my mind wont know to do a RC itself to know if im dreaming or not so in this scenario would a WILD or WBTB work easier for me? i have never had a lucid dream and i really want to have one

Yes, we all dream. We just don't remember it sometimes. Also, doing a RC doesn't make you lucid in itself. Awareness makes you lucid; the awareness that you're dreaming. I've become lucid many times without even thinking about a RC, so don't rely solely on them to make you lucid. Sometimes they fail, anyway. This morning, for example, I had a dream in which I did 2 reality checks (pushing thumb through hand, holding nose and seeing if I could breathe) and both failed, so I thought I was awake.

We all dream at night except under certain circumstances.

Alcohol can inhibit REM sleep so if you are drinking frequently at night this could be stopping you dreaming.

Some sleep disorders inhibit REM sleep as well.

Not sleeping enough will also prevent you from getting a lot of REM. How long do you sleep a night?

How are you woken up in the morning and how much time do you spend trying to recall your dreams before getting out of bed?

I think you need to work on your Dream Recall first before going into anything. There are some great articles floating around here on how to improve your DR. When you've done that then you can move on to the big stuff. You've probably had tons of LDs and not know it because you don't remember.

I may be wrong, but i have read in a few places that when you have lucid dreams its stored in long term memory since you're consciously dreaming, So even with the worst Dream Recall you could remember it.

Wrong, I've probably had 10+ lucid dreams that lasted a while, but I can only remember a few seconds of them.

everyone dreams, every night (unless they have some sort of severe sleep disorder).

the difference is between who remembers their dreams, and who doesn't.
The Key is to combine your waking rational abilities with the infinite possibilities of your dreams, because if you can do that, you can do anything.
