Maybe it's time to refresh your motivation. In Zen, there is an interesting concept called "Beginner's Mind." The goal is to maintain the wide-eyed willingness and spirit of a beginner, even when you have gained much experience. |

It's been about 5 months since I started seriously attempting to lucid dream. However, I feel I'm making no progress. After i started I was having about one lucid a month, sometimes two, but now months will go by without a single one. I know so much about lucid dreaming and pretty much have every technique memorized, but putting everything into action seems to be a problem. Also, my recall just won't increase. I was once at a point where i could remember at least 1-2 dreams a night (and I mean full blown clear dreams) whereas now I only remember fragments. I'm confused, shouldnt all of this practice be paying off? It seems like I'm only getting worse the harder I try. |

I am sure about illusion. I am not so sure about reality.
I'll try I guess. Thanks |

Are you dreaming?
Also using "need" helps. The mind has two ways of thinking, in one it takes the important stuff and saves that for long term use. And the other it takes the un important stuff and and holds it for short term use. After some time passes all of the un important information is gone but the long term information stays. |

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
