      Lucid Questions

      Hey Guys,

First off, I realize I post a lot of threads asking questions, but everyone on here is really helpful, and doesn't hesitate to answer. Just wanted to say that.

Anyways, I was wondering if it's possible to kind of chain dreams together over a long period of time. Say in a LD i was a hockey player, and wanted to play like a 50 game season. Obviously I couldn't play 50 games all during one LD, so I'd need to do it over a period of time. Would I be able to LD, play a game, then the next night continue too a new game without anything really changing substantially? Would you need really good dream recall?

also, i know I have a thread somewhat like this, but i thought this was different enough to have it's own thread

      Thanks again guys

The answer is yes, it's possible. Once you become lucid you can do whatever you want.

I disagree. Not to say you can't do whatever you want, but the OP was quite specific in asking if he could re-dream the setting " without anything really changing substantially" which is virtually impossible. The dream setting may be similar, but its impossible to re-dream a setting to precision.

Have a look at some tutorial on DEILD. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for because it doesn't chain them over separate days but it allows you to chain together multiple Lucids in one night. I've heard people on here say they've managed to chain together something like 20 but I'd doubt the length of your REM period would allow that unless there about 5 minutes each. Anyhow, it's worth a look.

When you start recording your dreams you will notice they play out like a mini series. I once was dreaming I was pregnant and then I had a dream that I delivered a baby. The next night I had two dreams where I was taking care of a little blond boy named anthony. It is really remarkable and makes you wonder where these dreams come from.
