Welcome to the community and the world of lucid dreaming! |

Hello i am new to lucid dreaming and need some pointers. So far i have been using the wake back to bed technique and it works sometimes but not always. Most of the time i either don't become lucid or i become lucid and the dream fades. I have also tried to say to my self repeatedly as i fall asleep that ill lucid dream but it hasn't worked yet. What are your suggestions anyone? |

Maybe ill do better with wilding. Thanks for the link. |

I wouldn't put my bet on WILDing being easier. WBTB is the only method I even try anymore. I WILD by accident a lot. |

---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.
Sleeping in a different place after your WBTB is great advice. It helps you convince yourself you are committed to the attempt. It also makes you sleep lighter. You can feel that something is out of the ordinary, even when you are asleep. |

Thanks for the tips so far its nice to see that this is an active site. Also for some reason when i recall my dreams i can remember them for weeks to come and they don't fade. |

There are some things you need to learn about lucid dreaming. |
|
Learn how to stabilize the dream so that you can remain lucid for longer. There are many places on this site that have that information, so I won't waste time going over it again, but if WBTB works for you sometimes, take advantage of those times. |
