Congrats! Im not really that experienced so I'm might be wrong, but maybe that was just part of ur dream an if you hadnt woken up so suddenly the "plot" of the dream would probably unfolded somehow! |

I recently had my first real, lucid, dream (you can read about it in my DJ). I just had a question about it. The only reason I went lucid was because it was just so weird- and something I have never experienced before. It was almost like I was stuck between dreams. I had a FA- and I was in a white space that was very bright. I had no idea what it was, so I did a reality check and realized I was dreaming. This white space was something I have never seen before in my dreams. It was almost like the white space that's in the Matrix in the virtual world they created to practice. |

That reminds me of a very short lucid experience I had a long time ago when I first saw the movie Waking Life. I was in a space like you describe but instead of being white and bright it was grey and dull. My guess would be that it is like a transition from one dream to another but I really have no idea. Perhaps its just an unstable dream and with more dream control and stabilization a dream scene may have formed. I'm still learning as well so I cant say for sure, but it sure is interesting. |

It was what it was. |

---o--- my DCs say I'm dreamy.
Ok, I thought it might have been a transition but it couldn't really tell. I don't think it was an unstable dream because it felt almost like I just woke up. Although, on the other hand, the dream I was in before did seem to end pretty randomly. |
